Delton Sport AR-15 Review

I recently picked up a Del-Ton Sport AR-15 California approved rifle for $649 after waiting for a more affordable AR-15 platform to hit the market. This is my first AR platform rifle and I had been debating over the Del-Ton Sport or a DPMS Panther Arms Oracle. I chose the Del-Ton because of their reputation and the Sport includes the front sight (better value) and the Sport was on sale for $50 less than the Oracle. The Del-Ton Sport came with a fixed front sight and a flattop receiver, a sling and my FFL also threw in a 10 round MagPul P-Mag polymer magazine. While waiting for my DROS to clear I ordered a cheap carry handle from Amazon for $30. After I picked her up I disassembled her and cleaned all the packing grease from the bolt and the receiver using CLP then reassembled her no problem and headed to Walmart to grab a 100 round box of Federal .223 for $39 and took her out to the range. I had a great time and the rifle functioned flawlessly throughout all 100 rounds fired. The rifle has tight tolerances and was accurate right out of the box. I highly recommend this rifle to anyone on a budget looking for a good value on a AR-15.
